Karen & Ted was born from a simple idea: handbags should be beautiful, practical, and crafted to last.

I’ve always been drawn to timeless, effortless design - but I could never find a bag that was both functional and stylish. Some were beautiful but impractical. Others were practical but lacked personality.

Inspired by my time in Marrakech, a city rich in heritage, color, and artisanal craftsmanship, I set out to create handbags that balance form and function seamlessly.

Handcrafted in Marrakech

Each Karen & Ted bag is handmade in small batches by skilled artisans in Marrakech, using techniques that have been passed down for generations.

We work closely with our artisans to ensure that every cut, stitch, and finish meets the highest standards of quality. No machines, no mass production - just skill, tradition, and artistry in every detail.

Materials & Sourcing

We personally source and hand-select each piece of leather and suede, ensuring that every material is chosen for its texture, durability, and timeless beauty.

Because we work directly with artisans and eliminate middlemen, we are able to offer luxury-quality craftsmanship at an honest price - without compromising on authenticity or artistry.

Every collection is made in limited quantities, using small, carefully selected pieces of leather and suede. This means that each bag is unique, making every Karen & Ted design feel personal and distinctive.
